Beat License Types
DashMeBeat offers several license types for beat purchases. Each license grants specific usage rights and has different terms and limitations. The license you purchase determines how you can use the beat.
Basic License
- Non-exclusive rights to the beat
- Up to 2,000 streams/plays allowed
- 1 music video permitted
- Producer tag must remain in the beat
- Producer credit required in all releases
- No radio play or sync licensing
- Distribution to digital platforms allowed
Premium License
- Non-exclusive rights to the beat
- Up to 100,000 streams/plays allowed
- Unlimited music videos
- Tag-free version included
- Producer credit required in all releases
- Radio play and performance royalties allowed
- Full distribution rights
- Trackout files included
Unlimited License
- Non-exclusive rights to the beat
- Unlimited streams/plays
- Unlimited music videos
- Tag-free version included
- Producer credit required in all releases
- Radio, TV, and sync licensing allowed
- Full commercial usage rights
- Trackout files included
Exclusive Rights
- Complete ownership transfer
- Unlimited usage in all formats
- No producer credit required
- Resale rights included
- Beat removed from marketplace
- All source files included
- Full commercial and sync rights
General Terms
License Grant
Upon purchase and payment, the producer grants you the rights specified in your chosen license type. These rights are effective immediately upon successful payment processing.
Restrictions
Unless you have purchased exclusive rights, you may not:
- Claim ownership of the original beat
- Resell or redistribute the beat to third parties
- Use the beat for illegal or harmful purposes
- Remove producer credits (except with exclusive license)
- Exceed the usage limits of your license type
Producer Credits
For all non-exclusive licenses, you must credit the producer in the following format: "Produced by [Producer Name]" in all releases, distributions, and promotional materials.
Warranty and Liability
Producers warrant that they own all rights to the beats they sell and have the authority to grant the licenses offered. DashMeBeat acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not liable for any copyright disputes between users.
License Upgrades
You may upgrade your license at any time by paying the difference in price. Upgrades are processed immediately and grant you the additional rights of the higher license tier.
Refunds
Due to the digital nature of beats, refunds are only available in cases of:
- Technical issues preventing download
- Duplicate purchases within 24 hours
- Fraudulent transactions
Copyright and Intellectual Property
All beats sold on DashMeBeat remain the intellectual property of their respective producers unless exclusive rights are purchased. Purchasing a license grants you usage rights but not ownership of the underlying composition.
DMCA Compliance
DashMeBeat complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please contact us with a valid DMCA takedown notice.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from beat licenses will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where DashMeBeat is incorporated. Both parties agree to resolve disputes in good faith before pursuing legal action.
